02Priapism and predisposing conditions
An erection lasting more than 4 hours requires emergency care, whether or not it is painful. Priapism lasting longer than 6 hours can result in penile tissue damage and permanent loss of potency. Use Levitra with caution in men with conditions that may predispose them to priapism: sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, or penile deformity such as angulation, cavernosal fibrosis, or Peyronie disease.
